She has experience as a political candidate, is well educated and a regular attendee at Mason County Commissioners meetings. She is sensitive to quality of life issues and responsible land use policies. As a Democrat, she has popular support among the party faithful, but it remains to be seen if she can gather enough independent votes to go the distance. Personally charming and soft spoken, she is invariably respectful of others.
