{"id":5895,"date":"2012-06-20T05:09:26","date_gmt":"2012-06-20T12:09:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amicuscuria.com\/wordpress\/?p=5895"},"modified":"2012-06-20T05:09:26","modified_gmt":"2012-06-20T12:09:26","slug":"shelton-olympia-public-restrooms-locked-too","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amicuscuria.com\/wordpress\/shelton-olympia-public-restrooms-locked-too\/","title":{"rendered":"Shelton &#038; Olympia Public Restrooms Locked Too!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The City of Shelton (gateway to industrial blight and the town that never had a bath) and Olympia have something in common: Both lock public bathrooms early in the evenings to avoid &#8216;attracting&#8217; the homeless, then persecute them for relieving themselves in public spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Even the poorest of nations have (a no brainer) public restroom facilities due to simple considerations of public health and dignity. So what&#8217;s with the U.S., Washington State, and these two cities? The &#8216;problem&#8217; doesn&#8217;t go away&#8211;it just ends up being deposited in disturbing locations.
