What happened to Texas judge William Adams?
In November 2011, the Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct (TCJC) temporarily suspended Aransas County Family Court judge William Adams after a 2006 video of him viciously beating his then-16-year-old cerebral palsy afflicted daughter, Hillary Adams, went viral. Who would have guessed judges & prosecutors are too often corrupt vicious petty tyrants? The truth is disturbing and all too common. Many white middle class Americans still found themselves in denial even after watching the Rodney King nearly fatal beating by police on their evening TV news.
But today, WE are the media! The ubiquitous video/web camera has placed the harsh truth into the hands of commoners in a way unmatched since the Gutenberg Press–a powerful archangel’s sword, Fiction and Reality TV can’t hold a candle to these sobering ugly truths. Yet citizens in Thurston and Mason County continue to believe they’re immune from such corruption and official abuse despite the evidence, despite the circumstances of too many of their friends, neighbors, and family before their very eyes. This reporter has only begun to scratch the surface of the judicial cesspool festering in Thurston County smugly ensconced in the language of RCW 10.14 and laws protecting government officials from the public instead of vice versa. (RCW 9A.76.180) The following video clip is an example of the true nature (behind closed doors and ex parte hearings) of these vicious abusive petty tyrants hiding in the judiciary and every branch of local government.
Judge William Adams beats daughter for using the internet
Arkansas County Court-At-Law Judge William Adams took a belt to his own teenage daughter as punishment for using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time. She has had ataxic cerebral palsy from birth that led her to a passion for technology, which was strictly forbidden by her father’s backwards views. The judge’s wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge’s wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist. Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can’t even exercise fit judgement as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re-elected again. Well, Hillary, the judge would feel right at home in Thurston County. Now that he’s single again, there’s a certain unmarried criminal prosecutor in Thurston’s Superior Court who’d find herself, no doubt, right at home in his company. And given their spin on it in Olympia, the law won’t mind.

Being a 1st Amendment fanatic myself, I’m sympathetic to how you feel and (as you know) have the bruises to prove it. Still, it’d be more satisfying to refuse to POST on such sites given they charge nothing for viewing.
I’ve published over 300 videos on Youtube…a lot of storage! Their policies have changed over the years, but rarely have they affected me directly. The Communist variety of Anarchists are a MUCH bigger (and violent) threat to 1st Amendment liberties, virtually on EVERY occasion I’ve encountered them.
I borrow liberally from Youtube. It has become, effectively, an external storage drive and viewing port overlooking the world in my work. And as much as I hate censorship, even I refuse to publish gratuitous hate screeds or libel–the 1st Amendment is too precious for such tawdry abuse and is already under threat from multiple sides.

It is of the order of the Rodney King beating videotaped by citizens and posted on YOUTUBE for the world to see! While Youtube has become obnoxious as it has come to dominate the internet, at the same time ‘perfection’ is the enemy of good enough. Youtube is far from perfect. I suppose that’s a role left for me to fill. 🙂
Daniel Ellsberg needed the cooperation of the NY Times and the Washington Post to publish the Pentagon papers. Today (or 2012) a 14 year old girl exposed her very powerful father’s abuse (a superior court judge in Arkansas) when she posted a video she’d captured with her laptop’s camcorder of him viciously beating her in her bedroom. Yeah, she posted it on YOUTUBE! Sometimes we don’t get egg in our beer and have to drink it straight. I actually saw a young man turn away from this video he couldn’t bear to watch. It was “TOO INTENSE” he told me.
It was intense! That’s why it went viral…on Youtube. And though Youtube, at some point, removed it, people kept uploading it. How are you gonna keep ’em down on the farm once they’ve seen Paris? Youtube has let the people see the Eiffel Tower! That genie is never going back inside of the bottle.
